Albert Yue
Albert Yue
Albert was one of the first 10 founding members of spell success, by years of designing word games, organizing activity events and summer camp, and even teaching math at our meetings, he has helped hundreds of younger spellers whom most are from immigrant family. Albert's great personality had made him a trusted older brother to everyone. After moving to Boston, MA, so many neighborhood kids have shown interest learning words. So he designed a WeChat group providing SAT study list, test questions and word puzzle to the neighborhood kids
Allison He
I've grown up with Spell Success. Now as a co-chair, I
strive to achieve what my sister, Helen has accomplished as a previous
co-chair. Spell Success has expanded my knowledge of words, and I will make it
true for others as well. In second
grade, I found my passion in creative writing, and I hope to show others about
why writing was so special to me and how they can improve theirs, or even find
a passion for it, too.
Emily Ren
Emily might be
a new addition to Spell Success, but she clearly isn't new to the speech world.
Emily is a part of her school speech and debate team, representing her school
at speech and debate tournaments as a speech finalist and oratory veteran. As
well as being an avid debater, she is a talented artist who will contribute her
speech and debate skills to Spell Success.
Jacqueline Jia
Jacqueline is a
veteran in our Spell Success program, now she is ready to serve others. She is
not only good at spelling but also a promising young musician. She has been
selected as a violinist for Region 25 All-Region Symphony Orchestra and TMEA
All-State Symphony Orchestra for 2015-2016 season. She was honorable mentioned
in Collin County Young Artist Competition in 2015 and is now a member of GDYO
Philharmonic. We are eager to have her bring the music melody to our spelling
environment.
Kyle Lou
Kyle has been
in Spell Success since it was founded in 2008. He has hence been able to learn
a lot from our founder Amy Chyao and his older brother, Jesse Lou. He works for
Spell Success as a co-chair this year. He has done robotics in both FLL and FTC
and enjoys learning how to program.
Megha Vyakaranam
Megha has been
involved with Spell Success since 2013 volunteering and assisting kids improve
their spelling skills. She is passionate about serving the community, and as a
president of Habitat For Humanity club at school, she is leading in building
homes locally and also fund-raising for Nepal disaster relief. Megha honors
Spell Success's mission and is committed to helping the non-profit
organization.
Michael Wang
I'm honored to
serve as the chair for Spell Success this year. I have been with the
organization for 2 years and bring lots of teaching experience. I have had a
great time mentoring kids and teaching them vocabulary, and I want to continue
doing so. I am an Eagle Scout and enjoy playing basketball and the cello, so I
want to help kids excel in whatever passions they have, whether in sports,
music, or other ventures. I know I will work well with the other mentors in
order to impart as much knowledge as we can, and I hope we have another
successful year.

Rooshi Nagar
Hi I am Rooshi
Nagar and I attend Plano East Senior High as a sophomore in the IB program. I
am on the Plano East swim team and am a black belt in taekwondo. I have been a
part of Spell Success since 4th grade and have been attending spelling bees
since then as well! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Spell Success and look
forward to being a mentor so I can help other kids like me learn new words and spelling
bee techniques.
William Yue
When Spell Success
was founded in 2008, William was only four. But with encouragements from his
parents and Spell Success mentors, he soon participated in the program and
thrived. As a 4th grader, he represented PISD and competed in Collin County Bee.
The next year, as a 5th grade, he competed in the regional spelling bee. He is
ready to contribute his spelling skills to the Spell Success community.
